Using one’s brain, nervous system and body for grounding, resourcing, connecting and getting safely into the present.
As the science of bodies and brains progresses, we are seeing the use of body-based interventions as powerful adjuncts to the therapy we have been trained to practice. Using the work of Stephen Porgess, Peter Levine, Bessel van der Kolk and other pioneers in the field of somatic therapy, this workshop will consist primarily of demonstration, case examples and opportunities to practice somatic interventions.
