About the Presentation:
Are you a clinician looking to find the balance between providing compassionate client care and business agility for your mental health practice? Have you thought about building a group practice? Reasons might be work-life balance, accommodating more requests internally rather than referring out, or responding to the increased need for mental health services over the past two years. Whether you are contemplating a change or are in the midst of it, this workshop will help you think about everything that goes into creating a strong infrastructure at the outset to support growth (or perhaps help you decide that growth is not what you want, with a clear picture of what’s involved.) Tune in for all things YOU need to know to start or grow your practice and better serve clients across the board.
Understand the key elements to consider when building infrastructure to support building a group practice and learn about resources, platforms, and other considerations (gleaned from tons of research, so you don’t have to!)
- Who – Look at both the clinical and business side of running a group practice, to consider what roles will need to be filled and how to find the right people to fill them. Who will be on your bus?
- What – Evaluate your training/knowledge base to appreciate what you know going in and how to identify and fill training/knowledge gaps.
- Where – Assess counseling delivery options, from bricks and mortar to teletherapy, with consideration for pros, cons, and costs
- Why – Learn how to identify, define and articulate a compelling culture for your organization (and understand why this is critical as you grow.
- How – Get an overview of reporting requirements, staff management and payroll portals, and other platforms that will help you manage the tactical aspects of running a group practice.
