VapingIt’s no secret that Vaping has become a crisis in the US. Originally “hyped” as a “healthier” alternative to smoking, illnesses and even deaths are happening across the country, caused by vaping. Teens are at the highest risk–peer pressure may increase use and that youthful sense of invulnerability convinces them “it’s not a big deal.

 

The Health Effects of Teen Vaping

Please join me on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Maine South High School in the Principal’s Conference Room. Dr. Margo Jacquot, will be part of a panel of health care professionals that will discuss the health consequences of teen vaping. Panelists include: Matt Jordan, MD, Katy Roesner, RN BSN,AE-C, Margo Jacquot, Psy.D. Karla Steingraber, Psy.D. and Christine Lawler, RN, BSN. Topics will include a vaping update, including what is EVALI and other results from the CDC.

Parents and teens are invited to the discussion and the meeting is free and open to the public. 

No RSVP is necessary. Maine South High School is located at 1111 S Dee Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
