About the Presentation:

Most of us spend a third of our lives in some workplace environment.  Yet, therapists are often only hearing about the other two-thirds.  Working with an Employee Assistance Provider will give insight into that other third and help the therapist get a more well-rounded picture of your client’s life.  Scott Cullen-Benson is a semi-retired EAP Professional with over 40 years experience. This workshop will describe the different types of Employee Assistance Programs and show how we can work together to assist your clients.

  • Explain definitions and types of EAP programs.
  • Learn descriptions of the “multiple customer” approach that is the special feature of EAP practice.
  • Discuss ways that EAP providers/clinicians can work with clinical providers to bring about a more complete resolution of clinical issues
