Alece McFadden is an experienced Licensed Social Worker specializing in family, child, and individual trauma focused therapy using a holistic partnership – based approach and utilizing various methods such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, CRM Model as well as other applicable approaches. She has experience working with at-risk populations, veterans, children and families.

Alece emphasizes a human – connection centered approach to help clients become their better selves, allowing them to utilize their internal strengths, desensitizing negative thoughts while promoting positive ones. She has worked in community centers, not-for-profit family organizations, and educational institutions.

Alece Earned a BSW in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago and a MSW with a concentration in clinical mental health from Loyola University in Chicago. She completed 3 years of her post graduate experience working with families and children, and established a behavioral health program for at-risk youth for a not-for-profit on the westside of Chicago, which utilized positive reinforcement to help children build upon their inner strengths.
