Becky is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over 25 years of counseling experience and loves her job helping others! Her priority is to provide a therapeutic relationship in a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment so you feel comfortable discussing your truth. Becky’s person-centered and integrative approach is customized to your specific needs. She counsels from a positive, holistic, strength-based perspective of hope and growth through self-awareness and insights.
Becky believes that each of us is a unique individual with his/her/their own set of experiences, cultures, families, sexuality, and perspectives. All these variables make us who we are, and because of this, only we know the best solutions for ourselves and what we’re comfortable with in our own lives. Becky seeks to help you view situations from different perspectives in order to gain more knowledge, and therefore, make wise choices. Becky believes through helping people understand their own and others’ thought processes and actions, you will be empowered to take control of your struggles and to find solutions that work best for you.
Becky has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA) and a Master’s Degree in Counseling, focusing on the school environment (MS). The majority of Becky’s experience has been with elementary school children and their military families, providing individual and group therapy to those with various behavioral and/or emotional issues. Becky has also worked in private practice, supporting all ages from children to adults who have difficulty with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, personality disorders, family relationships, life transitions, and sexuality.
