David is a (LCPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He brings much life experience to his practice, welcomes all races, ethnic backgrounds, and cultures, and those who identify with the LGTBQ population. He served in the US Navy as an officer for 12 years and maintains a high regard for those who do or have served. David worked as a meteorologist for United Airlines for over 20 years. His approach: the client should feel comfortable and safe in the therapeutic setting, utilize the most appropriate interventions tailored to the client’s needs, encourage utilizing inherent strengths and abilities, and develop the skills necessary to resolve life’s challenges. He prides himself in being non-judgmental and empathetic.
Clinical Interests: Fear, anxiety, depression, stress management, Bi-Polar Disorder, trauma, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), anger management, self-esteem, physical and emotional abuse, grief/loss, shame, relationships, communication, life purpose, life changes and adjustment, spiritual development, addictions/substance use.
Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing).
