Enrique G Chavez, Clinical Intern

My name is Enrique Gabriel Chavez, and I am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health at DePaul University. I am working towards receiving my LPC or LCPC. I want to be able to work closely with all ages but would most like to focus on working with LGBTQIA+ individuals who have faced any type of trauma.

I am someone who loves to work with individuals from various backgrounds because it allows me to expand my knowledge and multiculturism. I love to use various therapeutic approaches to expand my knowledge and be able to provide an ideal therapeutic environment. The approaches that use mainly address primary concerns like addiction, anxiety, trauma, depression, anger, and relationship concerns.

“Being able to provide a safe and ideal psychoeducational environment is my goal and allows for my clients to learn how to use presented therapeutic exercises to improve their everyday lives.“
