Grace is a Clinical Intern at The Juniper Center and is currently completing her M.Ed. in Community Counseling at Loyola University Chicago, focusing on clinical mental health counseling and child development. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she studied Psychology and Art History. She has experience in mental health and community-based settings, supporting individuals through a variety of needs. Her approach is client-centered and strengths-based, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood.
Grace is especially interested in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, helping them build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence. She’s also exploring art and play therapy techniques, which offer creative ways to express oneself and explore emotions that may be difficult to put into words. She believes creativity can open new doors for connection and self-expression and is excited to incorporate these approaches into her work.
