Dr. Hutchens is a passionate practitioner-scholar in the field of clinical psychology. She comes to the Juniper Center with a passion to help individuals see and experience life differently through the therapeutic process to resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. In her clinical practice, she delivers Motivational Interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based treatments to adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, pain management and addictions. Dr. Hutchens implements a practical, interactive and solution-focused approach to provide support and feedback to the client to find and utilize their own strengths.
