Jill has over 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker. Her experience includes both social service and private practice. Jill’s areas of expertise are in helping people understand and heal from overeating and/or food obsession, blended family issues, trauma (early childhood abuse, incest, sexual assault, domestic violence) and in working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and questioning individuals and couples. Jill brings to her work a blend of support as well as practical assistance to help people move forward. With a background in law enforcement, Jill also brings an added depth of understanding for first responders in crisis situations, as well as some of the challenges faced by their families. As a clinical social worker Jill has worked with people from a wide array of ethnicities, races and cultures. Genuine, practical and down to earth are ways that people often describe Jill. She is available for appointments evenings and weekends.
