John is an intern completing a master’s degree to become a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist at Northeastern Illinois University.  His life experience in education, sports psychology, coaching  and business has given him a rich base of exposure to all kinds of people facing a range of life challenges.  He is a level 2 Gottman Certified Couples Counselor, and a Certified Mental Performance Coach.  His approach is client led, strength-based, and emotionally focused.  He will listen to every new client, couple or family to hear what they are striving for and help them identify what might be in the way.  He will be there as a guide and support as people decide their own direction and life path.

Interests: couples, families, medical and physical injury trauma, performers (business, sport, and dance), life, losses, and career transitions.
