Katelyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois in Chicago and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University.
Katelyn feels inspired to work with people from all walks of life and enjoys the experience of collaborating with people through their trauma and hardship. Katelyn is trained in trauma approaches, including utilizing rapid resolution therapy to help individuals quickly process traumatic events to mitigate the difficult symptoms of trauma.
Katelyn has worked in both schools and in nursing homes and feels passionate about how people grow through their life span. It is always an act of bravery to address the things that aren’t working for you and pursue ways to move through difficult feelings.
Katelyn enjoys working with all ages and feels especially drawn to the needs of those who have experienced abuse, particularly those in the LGTBQ+ community. There are no bad people, just bad situations and Katelyn loves to help people deconstruct the narratives that keep them stuck.
