Pronouns: she/her

Katrina (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and graduate of Marquette University. She is a trauma-informed counselor who works with adults across the lifespan who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and PTSD. Her passion is supporting people through grief and trauma, helping them heal as they become more hopeful and connected in their everyday lives. Grief and trauma can feel so isolating, and Katrina’s aim is to help lighten that load and begin the journey of healing.

Katrina wants anyone who spends time in the counseling space with her to feel understood and accepted. She is an affirming therapist with a strong commitment to working with LGBTQIA+ clients, creating a safe and supportive space for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Her counseling style is person-centered and collaborative, drawing from ACT, CBT, and mindfulness techniques. In her free time, Katrina is an avid reader and film enthusiast. She loves spending time with her partner, dog, and two cats, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and exercising.

“It takes a lot of strength to pursue therapy and I am glad you are here. I aim to create an encouraging, non-judgmental counseling space that makes you feel understood and supported to the fullest extent. I hope that together, we can navigate the complexities of life and build a strong foundation for you to succeed and achieve your goals. I look forward to meeting you and connecting!”
