Marilyn received their Masters Degree in Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, and their undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Ithaca College, with an emphasis in drawing. They believe deeply in the healing power of art and creativity. While Marilyn has an artistic background, they understand that not everyone is comfortable making art and want to prioritize the client’s personal strengths within the counseling room.
Marilyn has several years of experience working in childcare, which informs their counseling approach. While they are comfortable working with kids, they hope to provide a gentle and supportive atmosphere for people of all ages. When they are not working, Marilyn enjoys playing video games, going for bicycle rides, and spending time with their dog.
“I believe wholeheartedly that you have the power to achieve your goals, whatever they may be! I am here to support you as you discover your unique, inner wisdom throughout this process.”
