Marniece is very pleased to join the Juniper Center team. She was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago and has had the privilege to serve and complete most of her training in the Chicagoland and Milwaukee areas. Currently, she lives in Waukegan with her husband and two children.
Marniece has always had an interest in helping others reach their goals, thrive, and be well. This interest has shaped my journey in this field and has provided me the opportunity to support and provide treatment to individuals from across the spectrum of age, ethnicity, cultural background, and clinical presentation. In addition to providing direct support, she enjoys facilitating mental health-based training and workshops in her community.
Marniece also enjoys and takes any opportunity to support early career therapists and trainees in their professional development journey whether it be through supervision and/ or consultation or assisting with the dissertation process; she loves to give back! Outside of work, Marniece loves fitness, reading a mystery novel, re-watching a classic sitcom, and spending time with her family.
