With us, you can provide good quality counseling for clients in a thriving practice, owned and run by a therapist. We are located in Chicagoland, but this position really can be hybrid. If you have a dual license, we will be able to provide referrals in other states as well. We are looking to hire multi-faceted, fully Licensed Mental Health Professionals (Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT). We currently have needs in the following areas:

  • LGBTQ+ expertise (Specifically working with the trans and non-binary population)
  • EMDR trained
  • Couples therapists
  • Addictions specialist
  • Adolescents/teenagers (ages 14-19) 
  • Preteen/tweens (ages 11-13)
  • Children (ages 6-10)
  • CSAT
  • Sex therapist
  • Trauma informed yoga therapist

The Juniper Center provides a Clinical Support Team to handle all administrative, scheduling, billing and insurance support; so that you can focus entirely on patient care. We also understand how important it is to have community – especially when working virtually. To meet this need we have a virtual team for consultation, collaboration and community support. We have several physical locations and offer telehealth platforms for medical professionals.

The Juniper Center clinical care team includes Psychologists, Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Counselors, a Neuro-Psychologist, Yoga Instructors,  Art Therapists and a Dance Movement Therapist. We use a collaborative, team approach to treat the whole person.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide therapy for clients in thriving counseling and therapy practice in Chicagoland.
  • Complete clinical notes.

Qualifications

  • Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional (Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC) with active license in the State of Illinois. Dual licensure is a plus.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working with the LGBTQ+ community 
  • Experience working with the trans and non-binary population
  • 2-3 years of experience providing mental health therapy in one or more of the following disciplines:
    • EMDR
    • Couples
    • Addictions/CADC
    • Adolescents/teenagers (ages 14-19)
    • Preteen/tween (ages 11-13)
    • Children (ages 6-10)
    • CSAT
    • LGBTQ
    • Sex therapy
    • Trauma informed yoga therapy
    • Be amazing

 

Location

Position is based at any of The Juniper Center’s 5 locations (post-COVID), located in Park Ridge, Chicago, Oak Park, Barrington and Northfield, as well as via telehealth.

 

 

Compensation/Benefits

This position will afford you the opportunity to work as much or as little as you would like. The position can grow as your desired case load grows.  We are a fee for service practice and we bill daily. You will be paid based on our receivables and our billing department has a 98% collection rate. Rarely is any portion of a service left unpaid.
