Early Career Therapists Consultation Group
This bimonthly consultation group is specifically offered for graduates from MA, MSW, PhD, and PsyD programs who are beginning their clinical careers as psychotherapist/psychologists and are looking for an additional space for consultation. In this group topics will include case discussions, exploration of further clinical skill development, and the professional identity shift from a student/trainee role into the role of psychotherapist/psychologist.

Group will begin in September and will meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 10:30 am-12pm. Membership fees for this group is $60/month with a three-month commitment requested. For more information, please contact us today.

Working with the LGBTQ Community Consultation Group
Clients who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer or questioning often seek out therapy for the same reasons that everyone else does. Although the reasons may be similar, LGBTQ clients may prefer a clinician who is knowledgeable about the unique aspects that may come with a client’s sexual or gender identity (or both). This monthly consultation group is offered for clinicians who would like to deepen their knowledge of working with clients who identify as LGBTQ*. Some specific areas of focus include use of inclusive language, going beyond the idea of “affirmative counseling”, clinical issues within queer families, and working from a trans* and gender-variant competent lens.

Group meets monthly beginning September and will meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 10 am-12 pm. Cost is $35 per group and a three-month commitment is requested. For more information, please contact us today.
