Provide medication management under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist for clients in thriving counseling and therapy practice in Chicagoland. The Juniper Center provides administrative, scheduling, fingerprint prescription capacity and billing and scheduling support, so that you can focus entirely on patient care. We have several physical locations and offer telehealth platforms for medical professionals.

The Juniper Center is one of the largest woman-owned counseling and therapy practices serving Chicagoland, with over 35 clinicians in five locations and via telehealth. We provide expert, individualized counseling and therapy for all ages, backgrounds and gender and sexual identities. The Juniper Center specializes in Trauma Recovery; Anxiety and Depression; Behavioral Issues; LGBTQ, Sexuality and Gender; Relationship Therapy.
The Juniper Center care team includes Psychologists, a Psychiatrist, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Counselors, a Neuro-Psychologist, Yoga Instructors, Art Therapists and a Dance Movement Therapist. We use a collaborative, team approach to treat the whole person.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Providing medication management and patient evaluations under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist
- Monitoring patient progress and providing collaborative treatment and communication with clinical treatment team
- Helping team understand clinical care from psychiatric/medical perspective
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Illinois (OR Licensed in Advanced Practice Nursing in the State of Illinois)
- Prescriptive Authority
- Minimum one year experience working as a PNP
Location
Position is based in The Juniper Center’s Park Ridge, IL office (post-COVID), and there is opportunity for hours at any of our satellite offices in Chicago, Oak Park, Barrington and Northfield, as well as via telehealth.

Compensation/Benefits
This position will afford you the opportunity to work as much or as little as you would like. The position can grow as your desired case load grows. We are a fee for service practice and we bill daily. You will be paid based on our receivables and our billing department has a 98% collection rate. Rarely is any portion of a service left unpaid.
