Breathing Techniques to Help Reduce Stress

 

When asked about my number one go to recommendation for relaxation and calming, I almost always say, “breathe.” Not just any breathing, but breathing that will help your brain ramp down the production of stress hormones and ramp up our natural resting response.

This sounds easy, and it is. However, not unlike exercise, this type of breathing takes practice to see results. This article talks about how.
