Teletherapy Services Now Available

Teletherapy is now covered by most insurance companies. The Juniper Center is licensed to serve all of Illinois with teletherapy.

One-on-One Therapy for Relationships, Parenting, Anxiety, and More

Help when you need it. Right from your home.

Anxiety, stress, fear and uncertainty. These all can be exacerbated during a time of crisis, such as we are facing with the Coronavirus.

Most services that are available in our traditional, in-person counseling environment are also available from the same compassionate and caring, licensed professionals that you would find at our physical locations. The Juniper Center specializes in trauma recovery, depression and anxiety, diverse sexuality and gender identities, addiction treatment, and relationship and family therapy. See our full range of services and modalities here.

Government actions include Mental Health in the State of Emergency responses, specifically these new guidelines for telehealth: Notification of Enforcement Discretion for telehealth remote communications during the COVID-19 nationwide public health emergency.

We care about your health and the health of our staff. As a result, we are now offering a wide range of teletherapy services.

The Juniper Center has trained professionals available who can work with you through phone, FaceTime, and video conferencing for counseling and therapy. On our end, we use Zoom for Healthcare, a secure and private (and HIPAA compliant) platform. On your end, you can use your computer, tablet, smart phone or any device with a screen that allows you to access the internet.

Virtual Therapy Groups

Group therapy allows you to interact with others with similar issues in a safe, supportive environment, led by a trained and licensed therapist.

The Juniper Center is working to anticipate needs and fill gaps for people who may have lost their support network now that we are sheltering-in-place. Please contact us to let us know your needs and ask about current groups.

Please share this link with your friends and family, especially those who are alone, isolated or feeling worried. And feel free to share widely: We are licensed to provide teletherapy services across the state of Illinois.

This is new territory for everyone, and it is natural to feel on edge. This will be a chance to connect virtually with others in community, as people are spending more time at home.

We hope you will join us on Friday for the calming exercise and to ask questions about teletherapy.
