We want to offer you a time to meet with a small group of kids your age (10 to 13-year-olds). In this group, we can share ideas on dealing with frustrating feelings and situations. We will incorporate fun activities while practicing new skills.

Join us and learn new ways to cope.

Mondays or Thursdays, 3 to 4 pm

Group therapy offers participants the opportunity to interact with others with similar issues in a safe, supportive environment, led by trained and licensed therapists.

This group for tweens may fill the gap for services previously provided by school social workers

Your child may be experiencing:

  • Difficulties in adjusting to a loss of routine (bored)
  • Transition to e-learning
  • Loss of socialization and activities
  • Worried about self or family members

Especially as families are sheltering-at-home, virtual groups can counter feelings of isolation while connecting and sharing experiences together.

This group requires a minimum of 6 people to run and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Fees are $25 per person, per session. A link and instructions to join will be sent after intake.

Learn more and register at 847.759.9110 x1 or contact us, and include the name of the group in your inquiry.
