Most professionals can recognize obvious sexual harassment, but the more challenging situations often exist in the gray areas. Designed specifically for therapists and behavioral health professionals, this engaging 90-minute training explores the intersection of sexual harassment, professional boundaries, power dynamics, ethics, and workplace culture through realistic scenarios and discussion. Participants will leave with practical strategies to recognize concerns earlier, navigate difficult situations with greater confidence, and respond appropriately when issues arise.

Following this webinar, attendees will gain these objectives:

Recognize the gray areas before they become problems by identifying at least three subtle boundary, power, and relationship dynamics that can increase the risk of sexual harassment in therapy practices and behavioral health workplaces.
Navigate uncomfortable situations with greater confidence by applying ethical and legal principles to real-world scenarios involving colleagues, supervisors, supervisees, employees, and practice leaders.
Know what to say—and what to do next—by demonstrating at least three practical strategies for setting boundaries, responding to concerning behavior, documenting incidents, and addressing sexual harassment when it occurs.

Certified CEU Provider for the State of Illinois

The Juniper Center is licensed in the State of Illinois to provide CEU’s for Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists. CEU’s are required by all practitioners to maintain their license. The monthly webinars offer a chance to earn CEU’s as do other fee-based programs offered throughout the year. The fee for one (1) State of Illinois CEU is $10. (So, for example, 1.5 CEU’s is $15) For now, Workshop Registration and CEU payment are two separate processes, so be sure to do both. Any questions?
