Virtual Therapy Group for Reducing Depression and Anxiety - Counseling & Therapy Services - The Juniper Center

This therapy group is a virtual process group for female-identified clients who are in high school. The goal of this group is to provide a safe space for clients to navigate their emotions and stressors with your peers.

The group therapy leader, Jess Wenk, LCSW, helps facilitate discussions about various topics including mood management, self-esteem, self-care, academic stressors, relationships, and discovering ways to creatively cope through social distancing and isolation.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3-4 pm

Especially as people are sheltering-at-home, virtual groups can counter feelings of isolation while connecting and sharing experiences together and may fill the gap for services previously provided by school social workers.

This group requires a minimum of 3 people to run and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Fees are $25 per person, per session. A link and instructions to join will be sent after intake.

Learn more and register at 847.759.9110 x1 or contact us, and include the name of the group in your inquiry.
